Delicious, real hamburgers. So good. They make the thin, crispy onion rings, too and I dont know any other places that do.

An old staple for residents of Jeff Davis parish. My father went here as a kid. Try the jumbo bacon burger.

I am a lifelong resident of Jennings and if your hungry for a homemade hamburger and French fries, tator tots or homemeade onion rings, this is the place to go. Besides the traditional hamburgers they have an awesome shrimp burger! They also have a shrimp patty burger or crab patty burger and both are mouth watering.

A nostalgic place that reminded me of days gone by. An old time drive in folks!I ordered the 5.00 hamburger basket that included fries and a drink. The wait for my food was short and when I opened the burger to season it I was surprised to see a fresh beef patty formed by hand! This burger was good and I enjoyed it to the last crumb. I had been hearing about this place for years and the hype lived up to the Lore. If you are in Jennings,La and are hungry ,skip the commercial fast food stops and find the Rocket drive In.

I am new to town and this has become one of my favorite places. I have eaten my share of burgers and this place serves up one of the best. Just a solid place for a real hamburger, homemade onion rings and milkshake. Call ahead as the wait can take 20 mins as they fresh cook the burgers.

Family business. I've liked everything I've ever ordered from there. I love how you can choose between home made onion rings and regular. Home made is the way to go! And the peanut butter shakes.... I looooooove! They've been around for as long as I could remember. The prices are fair.

LOVE this place!¡! Burgers are fresh, cooked to perfection. Fries are crinkle-cut, fresh & hot. The shakes are Perfect, too. We feed our family of three for under twenty dollars!! We like to take the kiddos to the Oil park by I-10, & have a picnic w this YUMMY food. They get to fish in the pond, feed the ducks, & hold a gator!! A REAL Baby alligator!! Definitely stop by, enjoy some YUMMY food when in the Jennings area!!

We ate here today based solely on the online reviews. My husband ordered a hamburger which was huge but pretty good. I ordered the grilled chicken salad and it was simple, but great and filling. Fresh lettuce and tomato with dressing in the side. Very friendly service and friendly small town atmosphere. Worth getting off I-10 and eating at a local favorite.

The place has been open over 50 years, and I've seen it on a list of the best "hidden" restaurants in Louisiana. That should tell you something!You don't find places like this too often nowadays.They have a great selection on their menu, and their pricing is very decent. I have yet to try anything from here that wasn't great, and ive been eating here my whole life. It's just one of those little mom and pop places that's plain and simple better than any other fast food restaurant you'll find in the area!

The food is always fresh. Regardless of how busy the wait is never that long. The food is full of flavor, the homemade onion rings are crispy and not drenched in grease. They offer multiple flavors of milkshakes and have a soft serve ice cream machine.

Stopped by here on our way to Houston from New Orleans on the basis of reviews. The hamburger was excellent but I don’t like the sweet potato fries with sugar and cinnamon on them.

Great place to eat for all ages. Bring the kids on a summer afternoon for ice cream and let them enjoy it or make it a date night and eat out at a pik nik table. Great food and fun for the whole family and you just never know who'll you meet there

Stopped in for shakes. It is a drive in establishment from 1960s that has kept true to itself. Shakes, burgers, poboys, fries, sandwiches, cheddar peppers, onion rings, ice cream, chicken strips, etc. Friendly staff and quick service. Seating available outside.

Last of the old time drive in's. I love this place and I ,honestly, don't know why I don't eat there more often. The food is great old timey diner food and I always seems to find new stuff on the menu, lol. Great place for shakes, burgers, tots, or floats. If you're in town, you should give it a shot.

Hard to find but. Not that far off highway.Food better than other fast food places closer to HighwayIt's a drive in tables outside. Old school.Locals give it great reviews.Extensive menu poboys (shrimp and others), hot dogs, Pulled pork , burgers, sandwiches, Ice cream Ask they probably have it I had Chocolate shake, onion ring and all the way burger. Burger patty had a little char but I like char Others in party had steak sandwich asked for gravy, fries and different burgers. Everyone was. Pleased.No unsweet tea.Be warned the bathroom requires a key and the place is from the 60's. It was clean but old and small. Now I've found it, will probably call order in from road. Gas up and pit stop Walmart ( on highway) And pickup food on way in or out of Jennings.
